The Lords House

Tonight Dave and I got the opportunity to go to the Salt Lake Temple and help clean it. Let me tell you how peace full it was. They split us up into groups. In my group there was Dave and I and then another girl from our Stake. It was so peaceful and neat. We did a lot of dusting and vacuuming. It was a cool feeling because sometimes I would be in the halls by my self and thinking one of my people in my group was there with me at times and there would be no one. I was telling my mom about this tonight because she watched Jonah when we went tonight. She goes well, you know there are spirits that are walking around and the Lord walks there quite a bit. She told me that maybe the Lord or the spirits were in the hall with me. What a great way to look at it and to have that feeling. Now I am usually a wimp when it come to big places and I am a lone some where by my self and I get a little worried. Was so great because I knew I felt safe and would be safe here and there by my self. I really enjoyed it.

We were there at 6 started cleaning at 6:30pm, took a break at 8pm they provided some cookies and water for us in the cafeteria. Then we got back to cleaning again about fifteen minutes later. We got done a little earlier than what we all thought. We were done a 9:45 instead of 10pm. Yeah that was a lot of cleaning for me. I don't do that much cleaning in my own place. my back is killing me now from pushing the vacuum down so many halls and rooms and bending over to dust and all that good stuff. I know it was for a great cause though. I know that my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ chose us to do this so we could have this fantastic opportunity to help keep The Lords House clean.
