Planting Flowers

I planted my flowers today! I was way excited to get it in. I had fun picking out the flowers that I wanted... I went on a flower hunt a couple weeks ago and figured out what I really wanted. I planted Portulaca flowers along the base of the flower bed and they grow 8 to 12 inches wide and thought that would be great. then along the middle I planted Iceland Poppy. I love the look and can't wait to see how it all grows through the summer.

You'll have to post an "after" shot in October to show us how it all turned out :)

Hey liz! It has been forever. We are living with my parents and all my recipes are packed up. I wanted to make your sweet sour crockpot chicken recipe but it is packed. Do you think you can email it to me? Are you guys in a house now? All your planting looks fun. IT is too hot to plant anything here. I hate the heat. Anyway, hope you are doing well. Thanks.

Val, I fell in love with them when I saw them a while back too. I am way excited to see how they turn out. I know I will have a red one blooming soon. Guy gave me a secret in knowing what color they might be.

Very Beautiful. A walk around your garden could get you into a very nice frame of mind!
